MEMBER BENEFITS

The Club began in 1951 in the Kitchener, Ontario, Canada area, as a Region of the Horseless Carriage Club of America.

In 1977 membership topped 1,100 for the first time, and it currently maintains a position as one of the largest Canadian Clubs of its kind in Canada.

While H.A.S.C. is concentrated mainly in Ontario, it has several out-of-province members and sometimes hosts groups from other areas. Membership is divided into different Regions, each of which holds a series of Outdoor Meets and Tours in the summer months, as well as Indoor Meets during the winter, which feature seminars as well as social events for the whole family.

MEETINGS & EVENTS

Our Annual General Meeting is held in January, and our National Meeting is held in April. These are both unique opportunities to meet fellow members from different Regions, and participate in Province-wide, or Regional Meets & Tours!

Many other meetings and tours are held throughout the year to share or exchange ideas and experiences, buy & sell parts or vehicles, get technical support, or generally ask questions or meet new people.

REGIONS

The Historical Automobile Society of Canada is comprised of many local Regions, which organize both Indoor and Outdoor Events throughout the Year!

Many of our Regions offer Technical Seminars and Information is available at our various meetings.

MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS

With your Membership in the Historical Automobile Society of Canada, you will have all the benefits of attending all of our meetings, tours, banquets, special gatherings and picnics, etc.

You will also have Voting Privileges in our Elections, as well as running for a position in your Region if you wish.

Along with keeping up-to-date via emails and our website, each H.A.S.C. member receives THE CANADIAN KLAXON, the Club Magazine, published 4 times yearly. The Klaxon is the voice of H.A.S.C. and keeps everyone up-to-date on both National and Regional news.

Also, online and in the Klaxon, members may advertise at no cost, cars and parts that they wish to sell or purchase in the YE OLDE BARTER SHOPPE section!

4. Submit Form and Fees to the appropriate Regional Membership Chairperson below.

If in doubt as to what Region to join, just send your application to the National Membership Director listed on the Application Form.
Currently, everyone joining must pay a NATIONAL FEE of $40, plus a REGIONAL FEE of $10. Anyone wishing to also belong to the Heritage 35 Group (featuring additional specialized meets for 1935 or older vehicles), or any other Region as an Associate Member, should forward an extra $8 per Region or Group, and clearly indicate “Heritage 35” and/or other Region(s) on their form.
