Normoska ’67

Yes, there will be a Normoska this year! While we don’t as of yet, have a catchy theme like last year’s “Get Your Kicks at Normoska 66”, we do have the basics covered.

NORMOSKA 67 will be a joint venture between four Regions: Huronia, Central, Maitland Valley, and York. Geographically speaking, it’s located at the corner of these four Regions and thus the rationale for them working together. While each of these Regions will be responsible for a daily continental breakfast and at least one daily tour, there are opportunities for other Regions to get involved on a smaller scale, as all participants will be encouraged – ability permitting – to become involved with daily tasks.

The chosen site, the Orangeville Fairgrounds, has sufficient camping sites and has modern facilities. It is also very secure. It’s just outside the town proper, but close to all municipal services. If camping, be sure and bring extra extension cords and water hoses.

The week will follow the same format as recent years, with a welcoming supper, morning continental breakfasts, a wind-up banquet, ice cream night, evening campfires, daily tours, an off-site cruise night, and a farewell breakfast.
